Launched FontVisual on Oct '21.
Lost internet 2 mos due to super typhoon.
Took break 2 mos for side projs.
But I admit it was my fault.. for not doing marketing!!
Became active again April.

A few days ago, I received my first customer support email reporting a bug.
Fixed the bug yesterday.
Today woke up to a Paddle notification.
Customer had subscribed to the highest plan and opted for the yearly! It would be an understatement to say it was one of the best feelings ever! 😄
Here are the 7 days post launch stats:

Not insane numbers but considering it a good start.
Definitely still lots of room for improvement!

Random feedback on landing page:
"For you" -- "For" should not be capitalized
"or by your customers" -- should be "or for your customers"I think the demo animation should go up top, where the screenshot is now.
The screenshot and demo are too hard to see. The demo is animated so you can see what's going on, even if you can't see the details.
It would be cool if you could give it a URL and it would show the page. In that case, there is likely more than one font on the page, so the user would want a way to specify a substitution on a per font basis.

Hi,
Thanks so much for the feedback! I've updated my hero section, and moved up the animation as you suggested. My initial worry was the loading time. I think I've made it slightly better but can still be improved.
I've started with a demo page before but didn't include it in the MVP. I swapped it with the showcase demo. But I think you're right, allowing users to see a glimpse of uploading new fonts etc would help. Will work on it next time.
For now still focusing on marketing. Thanks again!

Nice! What kind of marketing did you do?
I do a lot of cold emails. Then I post on forums. I also try to engage on Facebook groups and Reddits. There hasn't been a consistent channel for me, still finding that.
