After years of building web products for clients, I kept seeing the same problem again and again.

Restaurants were working hard to grow, but a big part of their revenue was going to third-party delivery platforms. High commissions, no customer ownership, and very little control over the experience.

Even successful restaurants didn’t truly “own” their online business.

That’s why I started building FoodHQ.

FoodHQ helps restaurants launch their own branded online ordering system so they can:

take direct orders

own their customer data

reduce dependency on delivery marketplaces

build a real digital brand of their own

The goal is simple give restaurants the same level of ownership and independence that modern eCommerce brands already have.

It’s still early, but this is the problem I’m committed to solving.
