Forged Finance
All-in-one investing platform built for long-term investment
On 6 July, I started building Forged Finance.
I work full-time as a mechanic, but I've always been passionate about investing. I was frustrated by constantly switching between different apps to research companies, track my portfolio, monitor dividends and read market news.
So I challenged myself to build the platform I always wanted.
Just three weeks later, Forged Finance now includes:
• 📈 Portfolio tracking
• 🤖 AI-powered investment research
• 📰 Personalised financial news
• 💰 Dividend tracking
• 🔍 Company comparison
• 📊 Market research
It's currently:
✅ Under Apple App Store review
✅ In Google Play Closed Testing
✅ Live on the web
There's still plenty to improve, but getting to this point has been incredibly rewarding.

Building for your own investing workflow is often a strong starting point because the pain is already understood.
The interesting challenge will be turning a feature-rich tracker into something users open regularly. Curious which part you think becomes the main habit driver — portfolio tracking, research, or news?
That is a great question. Personally I think it is the investment tracking/ dividend calendar. It is the foundation of what this app is. And what I have found over the years, is yes, there are apps out there that do offer these features. But they often ex-cell at one aspect, such as dividend tracking. But then, they do not offer any deep research on a companies. And then vice versa. What i am trying to do, is blend all these features together and, try and offer a good utility tool for the average investor where you do not have to spend a lot of money per month on app subscriptions. As that is other thing unfortunately. A lot of them are paid for there best features. Thank you for expressing your interest and your reply! much appreciated.
