Yes, another fitness app — this one wants you to graduate

Yes. Another fitness app.

I know how this sounds. Streaks, rings, guilt when you miss Tuesday. I've seen them all — I probably helped clients use half of them.

I'm a coach (SAFS Fachausweis, exercise physiology background). The thing that kept bugging me wasn't missing data. It was missing interpretation.

Someone would crush a sprint session the morning after four hours of sleep and HRV in the toilet. I'd ask why. They'd shrug. The watch had the numbers. Nobody ever taught them what those numbers meant for today's decision.

I looked for an app that would help with that. Mostly found dashboards and engagement loops. So I built Forjum.

It's live: App Store · Google Play · forjum.com

What it actually does

Your watch data (HRV, sleep, HR, workouts) feeds five RPG stats — Might, Agility, Constitution, Spirit, Presence. Not arbitrary XP. Derived from real signals.

After a session, when Forjum offers a follow-up, a physiological classifier scores every minigame in the registry against your current biology:

  • system overlap penalties after hard work

  • recovery bonuses when you need them

  • stat fatigue that respects time since last session

  • step nudges when you've been sedentary

You get three choices: resonant (best fit), stable (neutral), dissonant (working against your physiology). All three stay available. You pick. The choice gets logged.

Pick squats when breathwork was the resonant option? Fine. That's a data point — the gap between signal and decision. Over time you start seeing the pattern yourself. The app doesn't need to lecture you.

The weird part

There's a graduation score — decision quality, weekly stability, experience depth, autonomy. Hit 90 with enough evidence and you graduate. Body literacy modules unlock through real use, not timers.

The explicit design goal: understand your body well enough that you don't need the app to interpret it anymore.

That might be bad for retention. I'm fine finding out.

Health data stays on-device. No login for core use. Duels/coop share game metadata only — never your HRV.

Built mostly solo. AI helped on the code. Engine is real, codebase is real.

Why I'm posting

Early days on the stores. Product page is up. I'm not here with hockey-stick charts.

I'm looking for:

  1. Honest feedback — would you trust an app that wants you to leave?

  2. A senior mobile dev interested in co-owning this (equity + rev share, no salary)

  3. Coaches / physios — does resonant/stable/dissonant map to how you think about load and recovery?

What would kill this as a business? What would make you try it?

About

I coach for a living. My clients tracked everything and still trained like their HRV graph was decoration. That annoyed me more than it should have. Forjum is my attempt to fix that without building another app that pa
