FormRank WP

AI lead scoring for WordPress forms

Visit Website
February 16, 2026 I'm building an AI lead scoring plugin for WordPress, here's why

The problem I kept seeing:

I've worked with small businesses running WordPress sites, and the same problem kept coming up: they'd get 50-100 form submissions a week, and someone on the team

had to manually read through every single one to figure out who was worth calling. Most submissions were junk — tire kickers, spam, people not ready to buy.

Enterprise tools like HubSpot ($800+/mo) and Marketo ($2,000+/mo) solve this with lead scoring, but no SMB with a $50/mo marketing budget can justify that.

  What I'm building:

FormRank WP is a WordPress plugin that automatically scores every form submission using Claude AI (by Anthropic). It evaluates four factors:

  - Intent (40%) — Is there urgency? A timeline? Budget mentioned?

  - Fit (30%) — Does this person match your ideal customer?

  - Quality (20%) — Business email vs. Gmail? Complete form vs. half-filled?

  - Engagement (10%) — Detailed message or one-liner?

Each lead gets a score from 1-100 and a label: Hot, Warm, Neutral, Cool, or Cold. Hot leads trigger instant email notifications so you never miss a ready-to-buy

  prospect.

It works with the forms people already use — WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Fluent Forms, and Formidable Forms. No migration needed.

  Pricing:

  - Free tier: 15 AI-scored leads/month (unlimited capture + local scoring)

  - Pro: $149/year for unlimited AI scoring

  - Agency: $299/year for 10 sites + white-label

That's roughly 1/160th the price of HubSpot's lead scoring.

  Where I'm at:

  - Plugin is built and submitted to WordPress.org (waiting for review)

  - Marketing site is live at https://formrankwp.com

  - Collecting waitlist signups

  - Cloudflare Worker handles the API proxy so users never touch an API key

Tech stack: PHP (WordPress plugin), Cloudflare Workers (API proxy), Claude API (Anthropic) for scoring, Freemius for licensing.

  What I'd love feedback on:

  1. Does $149/year feel right for unlimited AI lead scoring?

  2. Which form plugin integrations matter most to you?

  3. Would you pay for Slack/Teams notifications on hot leads?

Would love to hear from anyone who's dealt with this problem or built WordPress plugins. Happy to answer any questions about the build.

Congrats on the launch, looks solid. How are you currently thinking about acquiring early users and gathering feedback?
