Formstatic

With very low expectations I launched Formstatic on Product Hunt. I was pleasantly surprised by the reception with ~200 votes, a peak rank or 4th and a final rank of 7th for the day. Ended up getting ~3.5k pageviews over the first 3 days.

I quickly set up a Pro page with an email signup form to gauge interest in building a "pro" version with more features for an annual fee.

During my paternity leave, I came up with the idea that people building static sites should be able to submit form data without having to write a custom backend. The idea was that you could point your HTML form to a service URL and include some extra, hidden, data in your form that would tell the service how to process the data (e.g. send an email, send a webhook, etc).
