April 2021 An ecommerce POC for a multinational

A big ecommerce multinational asked me if I could create a POC of their current eshop made with Magento. Their page speed insight rank was horrible.

The conditions were: you have to use Azure, deployment needs to be automatic, and you need to have 100/100 on page speed insight.

  1. Being accepted on Azure: Done
  2. Automatize the deployment: Done
  3. Create FortressDB, the Fortpress database, to handle the products: Done
4: Integrate the catalog from SalesManago: Done
5: 100/100 on page speed insight: Done

HI, i'm Connell, a Bug Bounty Hunter. I run PentraSec, a Web Application Security boutique, similar to platforms like HackerOne and Bugcroud but more personalised, meaning more focus on in-scope applications to test.
I'd be happy to partner with you to test your applications before attackers do; leaving you to focus on the development while i cover your unintentionally open paths and footprints attackers could crawl into, and making sure you stay trusted and guaranteed by your clients.

March 2021 Snap it!

Fortpress is good: fast and easy. But sadly, it's not dynamic enough.

AWS lambdas are amazing: write a piece of code, launch it, and you have an API.

I want the same behaviour with Fortpress, with more power. Here are Snaps !

A snap is a piece of code that can create an API, handle an event, an error, or a hook during the template building steps. I can also create a cron function, custom routes, and much more.

January 1, 2021 Adrien, give me a dashboard, plz

One of my paying customer asked me for a dashboard.

Everything was bootstrapped at the moment: simple markdown files in a folder with FTP.

Yes, a dashboard is a good idea but it also means user management, security, profiles, options...

I decided to stop all what I was doing to create the first version of Fortpress with a dashboard. In less than one week, it was done, and i opened new horizons to Fortpress.

September 24, 2019 I needed a CMS/blog system faster than wordpress

Worpdress is slow, and express/(or another_node_module) is repetitive (npm i module_name here, npm update, managing the obsolete code, vulnerabilities...)

So came in my mind Fortpress.

I wrote a simple but fast CMS working with markdown files.

I made a buzz in hackernews with NectarJS, and i had more than 500 users at the same time in my Fortpress instance, without slowdown. No good-old kiss of death from HN: i handled it.

Fortpress was born.

About

I started Fortpress as a hacky CMS. I needed something faster than wordpress, but modular and easy to manage. I was able to handle more than 500 users at the same time with 1core/1Gb ram. Now it a full featured CMS.
