free-calculator

Hey Indie Hackers! 👋

I'm excited to share what I've been building — free-calculator.org, a simple and fast collection of calculators for real-life use, covering finance, health, math, and more.

🧠 Why I built it:

I noticed that most calculator websites are slow, outdated, and full of ads. Some bury the actual tools beneath walls of popups and distractions. I wanted to build something clean, accessible, and straightforward — so anyone can get accurate results without frustration.

⚙️ What it includes:

• Mortgage, loan, and interest calculators

• BMI, calorie, and water intake tools

• Percentages, fractions, and unit converters

• Chart exports, print & PDF download options

• Mobile-first, super fast loading, and ad-lite UI

🔜 What’s next:

• Adding more niche tools

• Improving accessibility and dark mode

• Exploring simple APIs for developers

Would love your thoughts and feedback! 🙏 If you’ve ever struggled to find a clean calculator online, check it out — free-calculator.org

Happy to connect and learn from others building simple but useful tools!
