GrowForce Growth Marketing Course
Be a self-sufficient growth marketeer with a 40 hours course
We've spent one week for the preparations of Product Hunt Launch.
We bought Product Hunt Ship, prepared a detailed distribution channel strategy, social media posts, newsletters, sticky bars, automated Linkedin messages and many more.
In the first 30 minutes, we were among the popular products of the day. Then we dropped from the list.
I asked to support the reason; he told me courses are not count as products and our product will never get on the popular tab again.
I asked to support guy if he can let us in for this time and proposed to write a poem or perform a backflip for him. (Yes, I really did)
But he said no.
Well, fuck, such an April 1st.
We aborted the mission. Even though we hadn't executed 70% of the plan, we got 110 upvotes at the end of the day. But ofc, we gained no attraction.
So I recommend you (and myself) to double-check to rules before you spent an entire week on a thing.
Sidenote: useproof.com also made the same mistake a week after our launch.
AAAAAH. What a sweet experience to see your first paid subscriber on your little mobile phone screen.
We've been doing a lot of LinkedIn content marketing and outreach, FB ads and also sending emails to our newsletter audience and right now we're close to 500 free course subscribers.
Recently we've written an upsell email sequence that contains four emails and got it live on autopilot (email automation tool).
As you may guess, first upsell mail fires when a participant finishes the free part of the course (first five lessons = 90 minutes)
After a week, we got our first paid customer from email n1. 16 emails has sent and so far we had one conversion.
Right now, we're observing the email flow and by the next week, we'll go deeper into analytics to see how people interact with our emails.

For the last two weeks, we've been distributing our course on every platform we possibly can. We've sent out two newsletters to our audience, set FB ads and shared LinkedIn posts from our (10) members account, find apt. Slack and Facebook groups and distributed the hell out of it.
