Dive Together
A global community for freedivers
I'm making progress, improving site features. I've rebuilt and streamlined part of the navigation, fix bugs and launched a user profile view. I'm also working on figuring out what outreach should be like – a big part of the community is on instagram and I've been looking up people and emailing them (mostly instructors, but I'll open that up soon). Also started posting on instagram (http://instagram.com/wedivetogether) and figuring out what the best practices there are. If anyone wants to share tips, tricks or thoughts I'd love to hear them.
I've launched an MVP that I built with bubble. It's still very rudimentary and has some bugs but it works! There's a landing page, login, member directory and map.
If you want to check it out (and you're not a freediver) feel free to use the staging version: http://divetogether.co/version-test/

Not a diver do I have to sign up to check it out? Is there a demo user name and password to just check it out?

Sorry, let me rephrase. Would you like feedback on the initial landing site? and the resources tab? I like the color and the member benefits layout. However, what's the story video is what sells the emotion. I would see how you can make the front and center to hook people in. The initial welcome text is a bit too wordy. I would test out different wording with things like leadpages.net. Currently, sites try to catch your attention with about 5 works and a secondary sentence like you have.

About
I'm a freediver myself and noticed how hard it is to find instructors or divers when traveling. I also started a NYC group where we have get togethers and planned trips. I want others to also have this kind of community.
