"Hi HN

I've built a web application that helps freelance software developers find work and I've also tried to make it easy for companies to find and hire freelance talent.

I was really tired of been rejected from Upwork so I decided to build my own freelancing ecosystem. I don't have a massive user base at the moment but I am working super hard to get some companies to signup (actual on-the-ground conversations and some of them are really exciting).

Would you use an app like Freelance Factory? What is your opinion on what I have created? Do you feel it will succeed or fail? How do you feel it can be improved?"

USD $100 for the ios app?

Yeah, I’ll pay you USD $100 for the initial release of the iOS app. You are welcome to read Google Docs for the backend API structure and UI wireframes.

Is that too little for iOS? Only the licence costs $100 for publishing on App Store

        1. 1

I’ll pay the licensing/publishing fee. You only need to write the code and commit into the git repo. Go check out the job ad!

I am just saying it might be too little $$$ for the app. At least from my experience an hourly rate of ios dev is much higher. Good luck with the search.

Ps. I was not applying to do that job.

              Ok. Thanks for your input

How do you plan to monetize?

    1. 1

I take a 10% commission fee on the job price. I've tried to explain this concept here: https://www.freelancefactory.online/payment-process

Do you think this is a good idea or not?

      1. 1

It's a good idea and pricing is fair. people are starting a business every day and freelancers are needed by these business owners

I am curious, how do you plan to get clients to post jobs?

        1. 1

I have a few companies that I know on the ground that I’m going to pitch too.

But at the moment I’m happy with building the freelancer base first. I have my own company that needs quite a lot of work completed

February 29, 2020 Product Launched

After hours of gruelling work, Freelance Factory has been launched.

I've tried really hard to launch the product quickly. I've used a tech stack that I'm the most familiar with and I've almost worked myself to death.

Go check it out: https://www.FreelanceFactory.online/
