First meaningful community discussion

As a community platform, getting real discussion going among our members is vital. Today we had perhaps our first meaningful question from a user go out to the FreeTrain community without any prompting our side: https://freetrain.co/discussion/the-right-quotations-as-senior-digital-marketing-manager/

We made sure to provide a valuable answer and will be encouraging other community members to do the same, to try and add further value to the answer and demonstrate that questions will be answered- and answered well.

Hopefully the first of many! I know first discussions can be so hard to get going!

Thanks @rosiesherry - it's given me more belief that a new community can still work outside of Facebook Groups / Slack, it just takes a bit of a slog at the beginning. I'm sure @csallen agrees too!

Yes...personally FB groups are not where I want to be, but sometimes it is the only place where people will go, which makes me sad. Same goes for Slack. I'm cheering for independent communities!

I've not really tried it myself.
