Fresh Fonts
The best font inspiration, expertly curated.
After adding free commercial font licenses as a perk of becoming a paid subscriber of my newsletter, the amount of paid subscribers grew of about 40 people over the last two months, reaching 200. It’s a small milestone but a meaningful one considering all the sweat, love and learning that goes into this newsletter! 💙
Fresh Fonts is now read by 15k people!
I'm also working on its new brand identity and design system. The newsletter is getting a complete beauty treatment, as I am steering away from templates to implement a custom email design. We are also working on a new, state-of-the art website, including variable font animations. It's expected to launch at the end of April.
Excited about what's next! 🚀

Hey Noemi. You added 5000 super quickly from your last update. Amazing. What's happened?
Did you go with paid ads like you mentioned on your last milestone?

Fresh Fonts just hit 10,000 newsletter subscribers!
This can still be explained by our lead magnet – a quality typeface that we're offering for free when signing up for the newsletter.
Still, it seems that growth is slowing down, so I would like to start experimenting with paid ads to reach the next milestones!

Two years after its launch, Fresh Fonts just hit 9,000 subscribers!
The explosive growth of the last four months can be explained by the lead magnet that we started offering, a quality typeface that we commissioned and that is free for people who sign up for the newsletter.
Now I'm just hoping that a lot of them will convert to paying users soon. 🤞

Why did you choose Revue over other newsletters platforms such as Substack?
Do you pay $75 and 6% transaction fee to Revue?
