Friendspire
A free app to find recommendations from friends
In december we closed our first round of funding form a mix of family, friends, and investors. We raise this round based on our MVP, and put the money towards re-vamping Friendspire and re-designing the entire app to take into account all the feedback we had received
Made our initial version live on App Store. This had been built over a 6 month period as a side-project. The initial MVP only covered IOS and was developed together with our developer partner Debut Infotech. The product was designed by an out of house designer
Over a bowl of ramen with my co-founder, we came up with the idea to Friendspire. Why are existing recommendation engines so impersonal and also littered with fake reviews? It's lacking a social element where you can easily find recommendations from your friends. So we decided to start looking into this!
