FrontAdvanced
Open-source advanced learning platform
Every week, our global team of indie contributors comes together around one mission, to make frontend mastery accessible and community-driven.
FA (FrontAdvanced) is our open-source learning platform for modern frontend developers. It’s where structure meets creativity, a place where developers can go beyond tutorials and learn by building, exploring, and contributing together.
This week was another strong step forward. Here’s what we achieved:
- Authentication Pages, Smooth Entry, Clean Design
We started by designing and implementing the authentication flow in Next.js. Our goal wasn’t just “sign in / sign up” , we wanted the first interaction with FA to feel intentional, frictionless, and elegant.
- Topics Page, A Gateway to Learning
We then structured and designed the Topics Page, where all of FA’s learning tracks will live. Think of it as a curated map of modern frontend knowledge, each topic leading you deeper into practical learning and advanced patterns.
- Topic Detail Page, Where Learning Gets Real
Finally, we built the Topic Detail Page, which gives each learning path its own space for depth, visuals, and clarity. It’s designed for focus and long-form exploration, the kind of page that keeps you in the zone.
Every contributor this week brought a different perspective — from UX tweaks to architectural ideas. That’s what makes this project special: it’s a truly international collaboration, shaped by passionate builders.
We’re still early, but we can already feel the momentum growing.
If you’re a web designer who wants to contribute to an open-source project with a real product vision, we’d love to have you on board.
Just reply FA below, we’ll reach out and welcome you to the team.
