Meanwhile, we started promoting the app in our social circles and getting new users every day! YAY!!!

WE ARE LIVE. DOWNLOAD THE FUNIN APP!!!

After a few weeks of work for creating a native app, and playing with Flutter (btw, it's amazing!!!), we have now released the app in the stores:

Our Android app is in review... just a matter of time until we launch there as well. Hurry up Android reviewers! :)

I had just learned yesterday about GlideApps, so I wanted to give this idea of an app for sharing ideas for fun activities a try, to quickly prototype what content would be visible, and what would it take to bring it to the next level.

Quite happy that I managed to build a working app in 1 day. Of course, it has the limitations of GlideApps (like it is a web app, not a native app, and then in the interface I had to do some workarounds). But pretty good as a proof of concept and getting some feedback.

The first description of the idea that I shared with my team:

"App for sharing creative ways of surviving covid - sharing creative ways to survive covid and in general work from home/ keeping remote teams connected."

This is very much based on my own experience as a manager of a remote team during the pandemic.
