Fusioncast.fm

Today I launched an updated version of the marketing website. It includes the blog, which I plan to use for content marketing and updates about the product. And a changelog, which will give me an opportunity to communicate with my users the changes included in every version released. I also recorded a quick demo of the product and added it to the home page.

As of right now, Fusioncast is still in private beta. I've onboarded a few users, and some of them are actively using it to record their podcast.

The upgrade from Statamic 2 to version 3 went smoothly for the most part. Had a few hiccups with the conversion to the new Blueprint feature, but other than that, it was fairly easy.This upgrade will give me a more solid platform to build upon. The design has been kept super simple on purpose. Will share it with the online communities I belong to, and ask for feedback. Then will iterate on it based on that feedback.

I officially launched private beta today by onboarding the first user with a demo. I setup my availability on Calendly to make it easy to schedule the demo. I have a list of people I know that maybe interested in trying out Fusioncast.fm. I'm going down the list and inviting one by one to schedule a demo. So today was the first one, and it felt good to have some one other than myself use the product. Already received valuable feedback that will help me iterate on the product.

Time to finally retire the old single-file index.html landing page I initially created for Fusioncast.fm. The new site is running on Statamic 2 for now. The site consists of a single page. The design for this page was inspired by the advertising style of the 1950's, the "golden age of radio." I had fun designing and building this page, but not sure this will carry on beyond the landing page. But for now, this will do.

As I continue with the early steps of developing my new SaaS project, Fusioncast.fm, I launched a simple landing page for it. It's barely a landing page, but at least I have something to display when visiting fusioncast.fm. It's a simple single-file site (index.html) quickly put together just to have something there.
