A Job Board to find remote 4 day work week jobs
While searching for a 4 day work week job, I noticed there are not many sites focusing on that niche and the prominent ones are focusing only on tech jobs.
That is how the idea of a job board listing 4 day work week jobs from every sector came to my mind.
Since I am experienced in wordpress I decided to go ahead with it and creating a theme based job board was easy. Few days in June first and second weeks were free and I finished the job board in those days.
Right now I am manually posting jobs to populate the listing and I will have to continue this until recruiters will start posting job openings.
I am not planning to charge for job postings right now since its is new and I am not sure how many recruiters will be willing to pay to a new job board to post and this is not costing me much because I am hosting the site along with few of my other sites.
Plan is to spend a couple of hours weekly to post jobs to the site and right now it is not consuming much of my time.
Basically this is how https://future4days.com/ started.
About marketing I will write another thread.
I will try to update this thread at least once in a month.

Your website is super intuitive. My first question to myself when I jumped on it was- are you targeting 8 hour work day folks looking for less than a 32 hour work week, or are you targeting longer shift jobs- like nurses who work are looking for 4, 10 hour shifts. An option to divide the jobs up like that or better refining that might push more traffic to your site. In healthcare alone, there are tons of folks looking for a certain type of shift.
My plan was to focus on any 4 day work week jobs since there are job boards already focusing on 32 hour or less work week jobs from tech sector, but after reading your comment I am planning to divide the jobs into two section like suggested. Thank you very much.
this is an awesome idea. wonderful! i love this. there's a system i kinda have that maybe you could use to scale this saas (if you are interested) i we have this system we use to get ahead in our venture called the "icmva" which means idea, customer, market,validation and action which means for each and every one;
IDEA-Focus on Solving a Real Problem (Pain Point):
Why it's important: Identifying a real problem to solve is the foundation of any successful SaaS business. By addressing a pain point, you're ensuring that your product has intrinsic value and will attract real users.
Will it help them succeed?: Absolutely. People are willing to pay for solutions that solve their pressing problems. If your product doesn't solve a real problem, people won't see value in it, no matter how great the features are.
CUSTOMER-Know and Understand the Customer:
Why it's important: Without a clear understanding of your target customers, you risk building a product that doesn't resonate with the market. Customer-centric design is a key factor in SaaS success.
Will it help them succeed?: Yes, understanding customers’ pain points, motivations, and desires will help you build the right product and tailor marketing efforts, ensuring it reaches the right audience. Customer feedback is critical to refining your solution.
MARKET-Undertake Market Research (Competitive Analysis):
Why it's important: Understanding the competition and the existing landscape is essential for positioning your product effectively. You need to know how you can be better, faster, or more affordable.
Will it help them succeed?: Yes, market research helps to identify gaps, uncover opportunities, and ensure you're not just copying competitors. You can find differentiators that give your product an edge, allowing you to capture market share.
VALIDATION-share your saas platform organically using social media, blogs like twitter, reddit, medium etc and SEO also. (you can actually just ick one niche)
Will it help them succeed?: Yes, thats when you can literally go into the market knowing your niche, you'll directly take calculated decisons
i think thats it for this saas to grow because i see potentials but it has not yet being shown to the right person yet.
\what do you think?
