Letters to the Future
New Years resolutions always provides a usage bump...and I fixed a few bugs and started a couple drip campaigns to remind folks to write a letter if they’ve lapsed. I also think the longer FM is around, the more profound the experience is of getting a letter from the past - very common for letters from 10 years ago get delivered now...

That's awesome, congrats! How do you monetize your site, I see you have a pro version and accept donations and run ads, are those the three sources of income for you?

Yup. Majority comes from user contributions. Pro version still pretty half baked and needs lots of love but I think probably has the biggest upside.

Amazing, I never thought of donations as a really viable income source but it seems that your product really resonates with people enough that they want to contribute. Good luck with the pro version!

For years, teachers / educators have used FutureMe with their classes as part of goal oriented lesson plans. I finally launched a "white label" version of FutureMe, at $49/year, focused on this use case: https://www.futureme.org/pro.
It's doing decent - organically generating many trials and some self-service sales - but I still think could be more. As this is a side project and I'm a builder not a seller...I need some help with "GTM" activities if anyone knows anyone who might be interested in teaming up...

I started it on a whim in 2002...and it's grown into an enduring Internet brand and sold it in 2021.
