Simplifying Public Company Financial Statements
Hey IndieHackers! 😊
I'm Aaron, a Ruby On Rails Developer from Florida who loves investing. I mostly invest in index funds, but sometimes I try my hand at individual stocks. The problem is, I'm not an accountant, and reading company financial statements feels like rocket science. So, I came up with GaapRocket to help young investors like me understand financial statements and make better investment decisions.
GaapRocket takes financial statements and turns them into something we all know - a lemonade stand. This way, it's way easier for newbies to wrap their heads around a company's financial health.
I'm posting here because I need your help. I'd love to get your thoughts on GaapRocket - the idea, the look of the site, and maybe some ideas for a business model.
Feedback means a lot to me. I want to learn from you guys and make GaapRocket something that truly helps new investors. So please, don't hold back. I'm all ears for any suggestions on the idea, UI/UX, or even possible ways to make money with this project.
Here are some things I'm curious about:
User experience: Does the platform feel user-friendly?
Features: Any cool features you think would make GaapRocket even better?
Business model: Got any ideas on how GaapRocket can make some bucks?
If you could drop your feedback in the comments, that would be awesome! And if you want to see what I've been working on, check out GaapRocket.com.
Thanks a bunch, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts! 🚀
