Games Voter

After coming across several users on Twitter with the same problem and talking to a few friends and colleagues who are also 🏈 football fans , I wrote all sorts of features into a backlog. It quickly became clear that the first step would be to upvote games.

Since I don't like that you have to register first to use an app, I decided to leave this step out. This also saved me effort. I started to setup a basic React project with Create React App and a simple API based on Slim and RedbeanPHP. I focused completely on building a simple first version so i used Semantic UI React which is a great UI lib.

I have built one or the other MVP (Minimum Viable Product), but rarely has the "minimal" worked as well as with this project. Maybe because it was developed out of a personal problem and I am a user myself. Maybe because time was just super limited and only the evening / night hours were available. 😂 For whatever reason, I'm just super happy about the current flow and spirit.

I really like football and watching the games. I have the problem that there are too many games and I don't have enough time to watch all of them. So every game day i ask myself which summaries / re-live games I should watch. That was reason for me to start this project. 🙂
