Gatsby's party
Place card maker and wedding hashtags generator
Great day, finally on the first page in google, maybe It happens earlier but I did not get chance to catch this moment.
Good start! Also added more place card templates and hashtags. Avery 5011, 5371 and 5820 are very popular, so continue working with this integration
Few days ago I started trying to validate the idea of adding paid place card templates to Gatsby's party. And wow I got my very first revenue!
It is very funny because It is just 3 dollars, but I am very inspired and pleased with the result. I continue to experiment and improve the product!
Trying to add payments to the service.
Now only uploaded images by user and empty template is for free, but don't worry, we just added amount of new templates and new feature for editing place card, colors and different fonts for guest names and table names. I like the result!
Just found that users use service more for creating weeding place card so I just added simple weeding hashtag generation feature. And the result is fantastic, this option became more popular then place card maker:)
Also added ability to check just generated hashtag on Instagram. So keep improving service.
It happens, I just finished configuring web server and ready to deploy. After more than 2 year this project was gathering dust on a shelf I restarted work and now I am inspired on the result.
You can try to create place card on https://gatsbys.party/
Add guests, tables and just download everything for free. There is only a few templates for now but you can use your own image and create your own place cards for any event. You can continue editing templates after download.
I got the task to create place card generator service when I was a student. The main point was to create pdf file with image, text, lines and other things.
The project had bad frontend part, but worked good. I got a good mark at the end of semester. And I just pushed code to repo and forget for a long long time.

Congrats! I had the same success last week so I can totally relate. I’m sure it took some effort but surely it will be worth it.
