I added a complementary chrome extension to GDN Preview Generator. Using this chrome extension, users can take their uploaded ads on gdnpreviewgenerator.com and preview them on any website temporarily. This feature gives users the ability to check how their ads will look on the target websites.
Besides an increasing number of users, I got an email from a user expressing an interest to give him more paid features on this SaaS.
I built more features for him and we got paid.
Now I have lunched the features to the public with a payment gateway to make it easier for the users to commit.
I let the application to be up there for a year until I decided to change the UI and make it trustable to the public.
I wanted to examine whether it can have any traction.
I change the look and added description and hope for the best.
The number of new and returning users started increasing so on.
The idea came up when we wanted to solve our designers' difficulty in our branding agency. They were struggling to share their GDN (Google display network) ads with our clients.
The ads are made by the Google Web Designer tool. Google Web Designer is a tool by which you can design GDN ads.
There wasn't a way to share it with the outside world before it goes live. So we made this web application as a SaaS to give them this ability.
