August 15, 2020 Crossed £100,000 revenue last year

Last year in July, Geekflare was registered in the UK. While looking into accounting, I realized the total revenue had crossed £100,000.

When I started Geekflare, I never considered monetizing, but the number shows if you do it properly, you can still make money through blogging as a side-project.

Thank you so much, everyone, for making this possible.

That's massive. I am looking at trying affiliates. Do you have any tips for me? How do I connect with you? Twitter DM is locked

December 2019 7,179,090 Pageviews - 2019

Another great year with lots of changes.

I moved the Geekflare business from India to the UK. My wife (Rity Anand) takes care of the operation.

Continued producing quality articles on Web Security, Cloud Computing, Sysadmin, DevOps, Development, etc.

Getting a good writer is still challenging.

December 2018 Expansion, Monetization

I realized, Geekflare needs more hands to grow. I started looking for a freelancer writer to join and managed to get a few. Getting a good writer with technical knowledge is challenging.

Started looking to monetize through affiliates, ads, and sponsored articles. I learned a lot about marketing this year.

Geekflare generated 4,402,791 pageviews in 2018.

December 31, 2017 172.30% Traffic Growth - 2017

Many things happened in 2017! It was a significant milestone.

Geekflare generated 3,460,997 pageviews in 2017.

The Internet community is excellent. I started getting contacted by a product-based company to join their affiliates because Geekflare was sending good traffic to their websites. As you can guess, I had zero clues about affiliates.

This triggered me to think about monetization and registered Geekflare as a business in India.

Writing is hard and it is essential to focus on writing what you like. Don't worry too much about keyword research, SEO, or follow SEO experts blindly. Do your math and focus on quality.

January 7, 2015 Geekflare.com registered

It all started on this day.

I decided to move my personal blog to something brandable name. After spending many hours, I came up with the name Geekflare. You can guess I am a Cloudflare fan so that helped to come up with the idea of mixing flare.

What do you think about the name?
