GenQRFree

Hey Hackers,

A while back, I too needed a QR generator which outputs high quality and print-ready codes. I tried searching for some 'free' online services in Google; customized my colors in whatever tool I found there; got to the last step and then...

"Sign up to download!"

"We offer monthly subscription of $15/subscription for our exclusive SVG/PDF vector formats."

"Discover the secret of the powerful hidden dynamic redirect watermark that expires in 14 days!"

It seemed like all the QR generators had fallen into email-capturing traps. Therefore, I decided to bootstrap GenQRFree.com on my own stack: Nextjs, to bypass the hassle.

Here is the core idea behind GenQRFree:

- Zero Friction: No accounts; no emails! Get your QR code from input to high-resolution download in less than 5 seconds.

- Print-Ready by Default: Free SVG, PDF, and EPS vector exports without requiring you to subscribe and pay monthly fees. Small businesses should not have to pay anything to get crisp print-ready graphics for their banners and packages.

- Privacy-First: No tracking, no analytics; and no scan-data logs at all.

The Monetization / Sustainability Plan:

To keep the site fast, clean, and 100% free of annoying third-party banner ads, I introduced a single paid feature: Bulk QR generation. If a power-user needs to batch-generate hundreds of unique codes via a CSV upload, it's a flat $3 one-time fee.

The tool was just verified on SaaSHub today, and I'm looking to optimize it further.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the UI, the conversion flow, or any technical edge cases I might have missed. Check it out at genqrfree.com and let me know what you think!

Cheers,

Tuan
