GEO Tracker AI

Know if ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI recommend you.

May 18, 2026 We built an AI visibility tracker. Ran it on ourselves. GEO Score: 0.

We launched 3 weeks ago. Tonight I pointed our own AI visibility tracker at our own domain. The result is below.

GEO Score: 0 / 100.

That's across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Mode. Five pulse scans, 15 scan results, zero recommendations of geotrackerai.com when buyers ask category questions like "what tool can track my visibility on Perplexity."

I'm publishing this because two things became obvious the moment I saw the data:

1. The places AI cites are not the places we've shipped on. Top 15 cited domains for our category: Reddit (6×), YouTube (5×), Frase (5×, our direct competitor), Medium, Zapier, Profound (4×, also a competitor). We've published on Reddit zero times. YouTube zero. Even our competitors who are 6–18 months ahead of us are on those surfaces because the open web told the LLMs to cite them.

2. Two of our 10 tracked queries weren't even about our category. Some "product analytics platform" questions snuck in from the suggest pipeline. Our own Question Confidence Coach would have flagged them as off-target. We hadn't run it on ourselves yet. That's painful — and exactly the kind of dogfooding gap that 3-week-old products have.

Wrote it up as a full case study with the raw data + the 5 experiments we'll run over the next 60 days: https://geotrackerai.com/blog/our-day-1-geo-score-zero

Each experiment has a hypothesis Δ and a measure-by criterion. I'll publish Day 14, Day 30, Day 60 follow-ups with raw numbers — score went up, score went down, score didn't move. Especially if it didn't move.

If you're scoring above 0 on your category, I'd love to see your numbers. Free 60-second snapshot at geotrackerai.com/grader. If you're scoring 0 too — welcome to the club, let's compare experiment results.
