After many discussions and thinking, we concluded that our pricing policy is too complex, so we need to simplify it. As different APIs have different complexity, we've counted API requests by API type. But it looks like this brings more questions than answers.

Starting from 01.01.2021, we have a Pricing based on credits. We also have more Pricing plans, so you have more options to choose a pricing plan corresponding to the API usage. Did we increase prices? No! In general, the prices should stay the same or become lower.

The Places API allows searching for places by type within a given area. It was one of the most demanded spatial services that were still missing in our Platform.
Tatam! Places API that supports more than 400 categories is available now in Geoapify Location Platform. You can search for hotels, shops, restaurants, parks, and other places.
In addition, we've created a Place Details API that returns working hours, contacts, website, and other important information about the place.
As with any other our API, you can start using the API for Free. Try it, and we believe you like it!

Initially, we wanted to focus more on spatial analytics than just data provide, so the Isoline API was an essential step for us.
It looks like it's still a bit underestimated as an analytics tool. However, we believe that things will change soon. More and more travel and accommodation services, real estate agencies understand the benefits of reachability analysis.

In addition to isolines for "cars", "trucks", "bicycles", and "walk" modes, the Isolines API supports "transit" or public transport mode. So you can analyze how far you can go by bus or train.

The first version of Geoapify APIs is ready! As the first step, we focused on the basics: map tiles, geocoding, and routing. So you can create maps, search addresses and locations, build routes for your applications with our APIs. We also decided that our Platform should be convenient for developers and safe for business.
