FIRST EUROS EARNED
by Sumit KumarAfter years of developing my open source library leaflet-geoman and many months of trying the make my work sustainable by providing a paid product, I finally was able to land the first agreement with a client and secure my first monthly recurring revenue.
While I was back and forth with what product I should build, what direction I should go, I had no product-market fit and was basically all over the place with the website.
Seems like the Pro version of my OSS library was the product all along. Let's see if I can get more customers to this and achieve true product-market fit. I asked the client to support me through Github Sponsors so I can skip all the credit card collection, stripe integration, registration and so on.
