Get Advice
One-on-one calls with other tech people for advice
After more than a month without any luck, I'm happy to announce a new member to GetAdvice Project
https://getadvice.github.io/todd.densmore.html
Todd is an experienced DevOps and Cloud Consultant and I feel very lucky that he has chosen to join the project.
I'm halfway there to hit my 10 volunteers milestone.
Two new volunteers in one day! I'm very happy about this announcement.
Juan manuel (juancho) Irigaray https://getadvice.github.io/juan.manuel.irigaray.juancho.jxoir.html
Warren Fauvel https://getadvice.github.io/warren.fauvel.html
These two guys have a lot of experience in their field of expertise.
I really recommend taking a look at their profiles.

So far two users have schedule calls with me and I keep pushing the idea around. Everyone thinks it's a great idea but no one as joined as volunteer yet.
The project doesn't consume much of my time really. It's just a blog hosted on GitHub so it's pretty easy to maintain.
I believe it's gonna take time to catch up but eventually is gonna have a decent amount of users and volunteers.

Created a Telegram Channel https:/t.me/getadvice/
This will help people interested in the project to ask questions about how it works and what to expect.
These last two weeks I have been contacting a lot of people and trying to gain volunteers, but no luck for now.
But this week I got two calls scheduled. I'm looking forward to seeing what they are building and contribute the best I can.

After a few days thinking more about the idea, develop a whole site using golang (I wanted to try go), and google firebase as a backend I decided to make it easier and just create a blog using Jekyll and publish it using Github.
This way anyone can collaborate with the site and I don't have to take care of any servers.

While working on my other project Ya!Meeting (R.I.P) I was playing with the idea of having a subdomain where professionals could offer their services and use Ya!Meeting as the platform for creating videoconference solutions.
Once Ya!Meeting ended I decided to give it a try in a more simple way and try to build a community to help others in the tech community.
