I’m building GetAtMe because modern dating apps are broken. They’re built around swiping, dopamine loops, ghosting, and endless conversations that never go anywhere. None of it creates real connection.
GetAtMe is a dating app built around intentional behavior. One message to start the conversation. Trust scores that reward people who actually respond. Match expiration so nobody gets stuck in dead threads. Weekly pacing so people don’t burn out. No bots, no spam, no infinite swipe addiction.
I’m building this solo, from a van, grinding 10+ hours a day. The app is about 90% complete and close to launch. My goal is simple: make dating feel human again.

I like that you're redesigning incentives instead of just adding features.
If the product consistently rewards intentional behavior rather than endless engagement, that's a much harder differentiation for competitors to copy.

Thanks — that’s exactly the goal. Dating apps optimize for engagement, not outcomes. I’m trying to flip the incentives so intentional behavior becomes the default instead of the exception. It’s harder to build, but it creates a product that actually respects people’s time.
