April 23, 2026 I launched GetButlr today — an AI SEO scorer that lives inside YouTube Studio

Hey IH 👋

I started as a YouTuber, left my job to pursue it full time, and

quickly realised I was spending hours on content but losing on

distribution — weak titles, wrong tags, thumbnails that don't convert.

No tool told me WHY before I published. Only the analytics told me

after it flopped. So I built GetButlr.

It sits inside YouTube Studio and scores your title, tags, and

thumbnail in real time — before you hit publish.

• Title Scorer — CTR power, SEO strength, emotion + alternative titles

• Tag Scorer — per-tag SEO score, suggested missing tags

• Thumbnail Analyzer — face/contrast/text detection + CTR concepts

Stack: React, Vite, Supabase, Stripe, Chrome Extension (MV3), Vercel

Day 1 honest numbers:

→ 1 Product Hunt upvote

→ 2 Stripe checkout sessions opened

→ Chrome extension submitted for review

Would love feedback from anyone who creates content — what would

make you actually install and keep using something like this?

Most creators find themselves in a painful loop of spending forty hours on a video only to "guess" the title and thumbnail in the final five minutes before publishing. It is incredibly demoralizing to watch a high-quality video flop simply because the packaging didn't spark curiosity or the tags missed a trending search intent. Since your tool scores elements in real time inside YouTube Studio, how are you training your "Thumbnail Analyzer" to account for the specific visual trends—like "over-saturated" or "minimalist" styles—that tend to shift rapidly across different niches?

We created a database of thumbnails by genre and ranked them by views weighted by likes so as to eliminate boost/marketing related bias, so that we have we are sure is a result of real organic traffic. Then we used these to create templates that our AI will always reference or rank against as they generate thumbnails.

In our Studio platform that mimics YT Studio, users feed the platform with a caption file, create a database of their faces with different emotions (created once and remains unless the user wants to change. So captions, face, screenshot from the video showing the key background are fed to the platform ... it creates titles, a description, tags, thumbnails and the users chooses or fine tunes and upload from our Studio page in GetButlr

Using weighted engagement data to benchmark thumbnail templates is a brilliant way to filter out the noise of paid marketing and focus on what actually triggers a click.

It sounds like you have built a powerful workflow by integrating a custom database of faces and emotions because automating the "packaging" phase saves creators from that final hour of decision fatigue.

By the way the way I work with digital PR and media placement helps tools like this gain massive traction by securing features on global platforms like Bloomberg or MSN to build trust with high level creators.

Merging the caption files with visual assets creates a seamless feedback loop that most standalone SEO tools are currently missing.

I am in a team of one at the moment and would welcome a hand in getting this tool out there. I see GetButlr as a movement rather than just a tool. A lot of people are losing their 9-5 as AI and robotics leads to higher efficiency at lower costs with employees that do not need a day off. This is leading to a massive surge of people into social media ... where unfortunately the barriers to entry for newcomers are really high. I sea GetButlr as the tool that allows a new content creator to have an instant team. I also intend to develop a platform around GetButlr where content creators create accounts, watch each other's work to drive each other's views and likes and give the whole group a launchpad

Checking back in! I know how overwhelming it is to manage everything as a team of one. I am still down for that quick chat whenever you have 10 minutes—I have a specific strategy in mind for GetButlr that focuses on using high-authority tech features to build that 'instant team' credibility you mentioned. Let me know what works for you!

I love the vision of being an 'instant team' for new creators. Since you're a team of one, let’s jump on a quick 10-min call? I can share a roadmap on how we can use Digital PR to get GetButlr featured on some high-authority tech sites. This would give you the 'Verified' trust you need to convert high-level creators.

About

I started as a youtuber, left my job to pursue my passion and soon realised that without a team I wasn't going to get anywhere. This is how GetButlr came about. A partner for small creators without specialized teams
