GIF Explainer
Create project explainers in GIF format.
154 upvotes with zero promotion. Not bad for a Windows-only niche desktop tool. Got some emails from interesting people, hope they will turn into professional connections, not just sales.
Now I have an idea of starting GIFExplainer-format blog, but do not see a way of quckly validating the idea, which is a bad sign, I guess...
A month of thinking and a month of background programming. As a result the tool is not anything like the first design that came to my head. Initial one had more "artistic" features that drove creative process away from it's essence - to deliver information in an easily digestible way, so I kicked all that stuff and now I really like what came out of coding.

We were playing with "fact cards" learning complex things one card after another and then I thought to myself that card or slide-based GIFs are a perfect way to deliver information that could be split into consequitive parts, and it is not only good for education but for tech support and project explainers too...

I needed a way to create explainers for my projects quickly and not waste time with oversized and hyperfeatured tools like AfterEffects.
