GiftEasy

Hi Indie Hackers!

A few weeks ago, I introduced GiftEasy, my AI-powered project designed to take the stress out of gift-giving. I wanted to share a quick update and some lessons learned since launch.

First off, thank you to everyone who checked it out, sent feedback, or just shared kind words! Your input has been invaluable. Since going live, GiftEasy has helped users find thoughtful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, and more. Hearing stories about people surprising loved ones with just the right present has been incredibly rewarding.

Here’s what’s new:

• I’ve improved the AI’s ability to suggest more unique and trending gifts, thanks to your suggestions.

• Added a feature to filter gifts by price range and recipient interests.

• Simplified the user flow even further, now it’s just three quick steps to get your recommendations.

To say thank you, I’m offering a special 50% discount for the Indie Hackers community! Use the code FRIENDS50 at checkout.

I’m still committed to keeping GiftEasy privacy-focused and frictionless: no signups, no data storage, just instant ideas.

What’s next?

• I’m exploring partnerships with small businesses to feature their products.

• Working on a “last-minute gift” mode for those tight deadlines.

If you haven’t tried it yet, I’d love for you to give it a go and let me know what you think. And if you have ideas for features or improvements, drop them below.

Hi Indie Hackers!

I’m excited to introduce GiftEasy, a project I built to take the stress out of finding the perfect gift. Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, or any special occasion, GiftEasy uses AI to deliver personalized gift ideas, instantly and effortlessly.

Why GiftEasy?
We’ve all spent hours browsing, second-guessing, and stressing over what to get our loved ones. GiftEasy aims to solve that by asking a few simple questions about the recipient and occasion, then using AI to suggest thoughtful, trending gifts tailored to your needs. No more endless scrolling or generic ideas; just spot-on suggestions, fast.

How It Works:

1. Tell us about the recipient (age, interests, occasion, budget, etc.)

2. Our AI analyzes the details and searches thousands of gift options

3. Get five curated recommendations, each with a reason why it’s a great fit

What Makes It Unique:

• Lightning-fast, personalized suggestions

• No signup required

• Privacy-focused: we don’t store your data

• Always fresh: AI learns from the latest trends

If you’re tired of gift-giving stress or want to surprise someone with something truly thoughtful, give GiftEasy a try! I’d love your feedback, feature requests, or just to hear your thoughts.
