💭 GigRadar Inception

After spending a week on Nusa Penida (an island near Bali, Indonesia), being completely worn out from 2020, depressed about my business and work, and totally disappointed in hired programmers, I realise that maybe it is time that I am confident enough to start something i a complete indie way.

We were working with a freelancer to develop a data collection architecture that will scan Upwork jobs and notify us of the ones that match our search queries. We really needed a tool like this as part of our toolkit 🛠 for Scalifier.

But freelancer moved the kick-off date for the project over and over again, resulting in us missing the deadlines.

After another delay, I said fuck that.

I speak to my partner Max @ Scalifier, and we agree that I take a complete ownership and responsibility for the new B2C product that will allow freelancers to stop manually scanning job boards once and for all.

Oh okay got it. You can use the product I'm building in the meantime for free to get a quick landing page up with integrated email signup form so that you can start collecting interested user's emails and engaging with them. It's called LandingPing, just sign up and create your page.

Here's a quick example of a landing page for LandingPing itself: https://www.landingping.com/landingping-hsbTSSXWUt

Hey! Thanks, I will take a look. Currently working on the app's front end react app. Landing comes a bit later ;)
