Is Portugal’s Remote Working Law Ruining The Country’s Chance At Economic Success?

Since the turn of the century, Portugal has been making concerted efforts to become a leading player in the European economy.

The new law mentioned is that it's mandatory to allow one day of telecommuting / home work per week, if you have more than 25 employees. That ... doesn't seem that bad. Ruining an entire country's economy, especially in context of four day week experiments, seems a bit of stretch.
