Global Sponsor Hub

International hiring, finally made simple.

April 20, 2026 How I built a visa sponsorship hiring platform as a solo founder (and why it took longer than I expected)

I started building Global Sponsor Hub because I kept running into the same frustration, candidates spending hours applying for jobs only to find out the employer doesn't sponsor visas. Employers struggling to find talent that was actually open to relocation. And relocation partners with no way to reach people at the moment they needed them most.

Three sides of the same broken process, with no platform connecting all three.

So I built one!

What Global Sponsor Hub does It's a three-sided hiring platform for employers offering visa sponsorship, internationally mobile candidates, and relocation service partners. Every job listing is clearly labelled with sponsorship and relocation information upfront — no more wasted applications.

The build I'm a non-technical founder who codes. I use Cursor and AI tools to build and maintain the platform, and I have full ownership of the codebase. It's not the traditional route but it works — and it means I can ship fast without depending on anyone else.

Where we are now We launched in April 2026. Employers get 6 months free on the Growth plan. We're focused on building the ecosystem before scaling, getting the right employers, candidates and partners on the platform first.

What's next Growing all three sides simultaneously is the challenge. If you are building something in the HR tech or global mobility space, I would love to connect :)

Solo-founder builds with AI tools move fast until nobody knows which files are actually load-bearing. I built the structural-awareness layer for that. Happy to send the OpenClaw sample if useful.

The three-sided marketplace thing is tough because you need all sides to have enough people or nobody sticks around. How are you handling that chicken-and-egg problem early on?

You are completely right — it is 100% a chicken-and-egg situation.

Right now, it is very much outreach, outreach, outreach. We are actively building the employer side while curating a small number of handpicked roles so candidates see immediate value rather than an empty platform.

The focus at this stage is not scale, it is making sure the experience works for each side as we grow it.

That makes sense — keeping quality high early is probably better than flooding the platform with listings nobody acts on.

The relocation partner side is the most interesting to me — how are you sourcing them? That seems like the hardest of the three to get right.

The current offer is for partners to list their services on the platform completely free for 6 months, with no commitment. The goal right now is simple: make it accessible and start building a strong ecosystem of candidates, partners, and employers so there is real value for everyone involved.

It is just me building this at the moment, so progress is steady rather than instant, but I am fully committed to making it work. A lot of late nights and persistence, but that is part of building something meaningful.

Jennifer! I’ve been thinking about your 'AI-powered non-technical founder' angle—it’s a perfect fit for some founder-focused tech columns. No rush at all as I know you're deep in the build, but whenever you’re ready to chat about visibility, I’m here to help!

I can totally relate to those late nights, Jennifer. Building a three-sided marketplace solo is a massive feat, especially while learning to code on the fly!

From a PR perspective, your story as a non-technical founder using AI to solve the 'Visa Sponsorship' gap is incredibly compelling. This is exactly the kind of 'Founder Journey' that major tech and business publications love to feature.

I'd love to chat more about how we can position your story to get Global Sponsor Hub more visibility. Feel free to reach out at mumerumar5@gmail.com whenever you have a moment between those builds.

Keep pushing, you're building something very meaningful!

About

I kept seeing the same problem — candidates, employers and relocation partners all needed each other but had no way to connect. So I built Global Sponsor Hub to bring all three together in one place.
