March 2020 Exited for $365,177

I decided to sell Atlas on EmpireFlippers.

They looked over the business and listed it for $365k.

The business sold the day after it was listed. This was also a massive surprise since this was during the COVID pandemic and NO ONE was spending money. But the new owners got a (IMO) great deal and I walked away with a phat paycheck.

I still am being a consultant for Atlas only a few hours a month (at a pretty handsome rate/hr). It's been fun to get to continue to 'work' on the business a few hours a month without having to slave over it.

Here's the listing on E.F: https://empireflippers.com/listing/47663/

Hey @Jordankilburn congrats on the exit !

I'm at the moment in the process of exiting my company as well and am keen to learn from fellow Indie Hackers how the process went for them :)

Would you be free for a quick call to share a little more on your story?

August 2019 Over $30k Revenue

We nailed 30k in revenue for August by doing a yearly deal for many current users. They could lock in for a yearly plan for 10% discount and we locked in a ton of usable capital.

We never ended up using the capital though since we were really already maxed out at $2k/mo on Google Ads. The niche is very, VERY small.

September 2018 Launched an MVP

Using ClickFunnels, we launched a simple page that allowed users to buy product leads delivered to them in a membership area every weekday. Not the best MVP, but it worked.

We launched to my email list of Amazon sellers (over 10k people) and instantly hit $8,000 MRR. That was only ~80 customers, but the ARPU was over $100.

The product was $129/mo. The leads were sourced by a team of virtual assistants that were on salary at ~$400/mo.

About

After being an Amazon seller myself for a couple years, I knew how annoying was to manage inventory. That and actually FIND inventory to sell. So I made a tool that does both.
