GoalHappy
Built for myself when Todoist and Notion got too much.
As a developer, I kept bouncing between Basecamp, Notion, Todoist, and a bunch of other tools. I'd spend more time organizing tasks than actually doing them.
Apple Reminders and other simple tools felt too basic, so I eventually built something for myself: GoalHappy.
GoalHappy is a very simple task management web app (PWA) with two ideas:
You can start using it without creating an account – just open the app and add tasks.
When you want more, you can sync to the cloud and collaborate with others, without the usual complexity.
In the logged-out state, it uses your browser’s local storage, so tasks stay on that device only and can be cleared if you wipe your browser. If you want your tasks to be safe across devices, you can upgrade to Pro.
Pro plan ($2/month or $18/year)
Cloud sync across devices
Multiple lists
Simple list sharing (up to 10 people per list)
Reasonable limits (up to 1K lists, 10K tasks) to avoid abuse – I’m happy to raise them for genuine heavy users.
The goal is to keep GoalHappy intentionally simple – more features will be added based on feedback, but I don’t want it to turn into another huge project management tool.
I just pushed it to production about an hour ago, so you’d be among the first real users.

I'd love feedback from other builders: does this scratch an itch for you, or is there something obviously missing while still staying simple?
About
As a developer, I needed a simple task management solution with cross-platform sync. Todoist, Basecamp, etc., were overloaded with features for me. Apple Reminders was too basic. So I created GoalHappy.
