December 23, 2018 Why GoNevis was built ?

I always had a thing for blogging, I always loved it (especially when I don’t use my real name). I’ve started writing blogs when I was 9 years old and I kept doing it for many years, but over the years blogging shift to another way, most of the bloggers and readers got stuck into social networks and getting fed with constant data and news.

It’s no longer blogs or good writers.

I still remember the time I’d wait for my favorite bloggers to post something, checking their blog every day, looking at the RSS icon to be updated or later Google Reader.

Most of the blame is on the blogging platform to not being able to keep their core values, shifting into a giant pile of marketing tools instead of encouraging users to be bloggers.

Bloggers were sold out to advertisement companies, social media, and infinite timelines.
Readers are being told to read what algorithms give them to read, click on what some fancy algorithm is showing them and follow people that some machine learning feature has decided for them.

GoNevis is here to solve that problem, to let the user write what they want, read what they want and follow and socialize with their favorite bloggers.

We have created GoNevis to let both bloggers and readers enjoy what blogging is about, no weird UI or annoying requirements.

It’s about bloggers, it’s about readers.
