Reached 100K Visitors This Year

Good, Cheap and Fast just recorded its 100,000th visitor of 2019. It's an interesting milestone because the site might not post a year-over-year traffic gain, even though it only existed for two months in 2018. (A lucky streak of good press drove more than 100,000 visitors in the first month of the site's existence, then traffic crashed to zero.) It's been a slog, but I'm proud of it.

    Hey John,

    Congratulations on this great milestone!

Tiny suggestion: open a new tab when people click on the product link. This way they'll go to Amazon, but once they're done with the transaction (and close the tab), they'll remember how they got there, and immediately fall back onto your listing/blog. This suggestion may not work best from all sections of your site, but it will certainly work well from your blog.

    Cheers,

Thanks, @nervousplanner! This is a UX mystery for me. It seems like people either love it or hate it when a link opens in a new tab. I wish there were good studies about this topic.

What marketing tactics (paid or influencer or organic) did you use.
    Congrats

Thanks, @Garberchov. I've focused on content, PR and social media. Most of the traffic came from organic search or referrals from other websites. Social hasn't worked out well.

    Congratulations! 👏🏾
