Launched initial iteration
After more than a year of working on the core idea, I finally made Good Remote Jobs live.
Core focuses during the 14 months of initial development:
- Created a self-served onboarding process for teams to sign up.
- Researched existing job boards to decide how to differentiate and provide missing value.
- Pivoted on the name more than once (too many times, to be honest!).
- Switched stacks for long-term growth and performance reasons (despite the conventional wisdom that this isn't likely something worthwhile, there were a number of key reasons I did this... may eventually post about these in detail, especially if others would find them helpful).
