GOSH - Price Tracker

My co-founder and I first launched GOSH.app as a "platform for discovering, tracking, comparing, saving, and sharing the latest product releases from nearly any brand (or online store) worldwide."

Before launch, we created a database of over 500,000 products from every fashion brand imaginable, and a sexy web app. We had no trouble getting early adopters, testers, and micro-influencers excited about the concept of "getting the latest product drops from their favourite brands before anyone else".

However, after the initial influx of users who signed up, we faced challenges with retaining their interest—ongoing engagement with the product just wasn't where we wanted it to be. Simply put, the original concept for GOSH.app wasn't hitting the mark in a sustainable way.

But there was a silver lining: the one feature that users consistently loved was our free price tracking tool - saving products to GOSH.app and being alerted when prices drop and/or re-stocks happen.

So with that, we decided to narrow our focus for GOSH.app and create a free price tracker and Chrome Extension, and see where it leads us.

We soft-launched GOSH.app (take 2) about week ago with a sprinkle of marketing, and it’s already taking off...!!

We understand that "price tracking" isn't an original idea by any stretch, but I don't think it matters, people seem to be loving it.
