Grand Moments
Activities for Every Generation
I built GrandMoments because the time we spend with the people we love across the generations goes by fast and much of it disappears from memory. You remember it happened, but not what they said, what surprised you, what made you laugh. GrandMoments fixes that.
I built GrandMoments for the Replit Agent4 Buildathon. It was mostly done during the overnight hours, through the emotional rollercoaster of cleaning out my parents' home, as my mom recently passed away, and squeezed in around my full-time job of running the largest charity of its type in the state of Mississippi.
It generates personalized activities for any people across a generational gap. You tell it who is spending time together , what things they like, the length of time for your activity, whether you're in person or across the miles, and it gives you something real and meaningful to do together where each person is both a learner and a teacher.
Then it walks you through building a scrapbook of that time: what you did, the best moment, the line you'll never forget, the thing that caught you off guard. So years from now, you're not guessing. You know.
The pain points that drove this build came with actual tears. I didn't want to think as deeply about any of this as I knew I would have to because my loss is still so raw, but I had to get it out of my head and my heart and into something that I could see and share. Connecting with each other across generations one of the most beautiful human instincts we have.
That's how I knew it was worth building.
I built this for my family, but I hope it could be useful to yours. Try it at grandmomentsapp.com and thank you for your feedback.

This is really beautiful, turning something so personal into something others can use is powerful. the focus on capturing moments, not just memories, really stands out.
"Connecting across generations is one of the most beautiful human instincts we have", and you built the tool that makes that instinct actionable, not just felt. Most grief stays private. You turned yours into a structure that helps other families show up before they run out of time. That's not a buildathon project. That's something else entirely.
I love this. You made a wonderful product that I think is truly special. I don't have much Replicash at all, I joined the competition late, but I'm going to find your app and send it.
