When I started researching UAE employment benefits, I realized most people calculate their end-of-service gratuity incorrectly, mixing up basic salary with total salary, or applying the wrong day-rate formula for their years of service.
The actual MOHRE formula uses 21 days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years, then 30 days per year after that, with different rules depending on whether it's resignation or termination, and limited vs unlimited contracts.

Interesting build.
One thing I'd be careful with:
The challenge may not be whether the calculation is accurate.
It may be what decision people are actually trying to make when they look for a gratuity calculator in the first place.
Those sound similar, but they can lead to very different conclusions about what gets built around the calculator.
I'd be careful making that call too quickly.
