My New B2B Project

I started working on my new Nocode project two months ago.

It's an archive of B2B marketing examples, interviews and case studies called

I treat it as an open notebook for my own B2B ventures

Since launch, the site has hit 2.4k website users and 287 newsletter subscribers.

All from direct traffic sources:

I got my first 100 subscribers from daily Reddit comments, Refind and DMing my existing Twitter followers.
I've stopped Refind (my OR in that segment was terrible), so I continued to hit 287 subscribers by focusing on Reddit posts and comments.

Now that I spent a month on Reddit, i have a good understanding of how to almost guarantee 5–10 subs a day if i spend my time commenting on hot posts throughout the day on R/Entrepreneur

However, I've focused mainly on adding valuable content every day before I slow down and start heavily distributing it across multiple social media channels.

It only made sense because it gives people an existing archive if they decide to visit my site. It's in the name.

My recent post on Reddit:

I received 25 upvotes and 43.8k total views

This resulted in around 15 subscribers:

However, my CTA was to my website and not my subscriber page.

I've yet to test my Reddit posts with a CTA to my Subscribe page.

I also got featured on a newsletter called the AIValley.com last week, which was totally random. I thought there were bots on my site at first:

This brought in 100s of new users on my site, and I got an impressive 17 new subscribers from my email popup and main subscriber form.

Today, I distributed my latest example

The Founding Father Of Content Marketing (Benjamin Franklin)

On Reddit earlier today

And it only hit 3.3k views with 3 upvotes and 0 new subscribers.

I plan to delete the post and repost it in an hour with a catchy title:

What I noticed with my first one is that if there isn't any movement in the first 2 hours, its best to remove it and change the title and intro.

My previous post was also much later at night (SAST time), which is when people from the USA are more active.

Right now, there are 1575 people online, and earlier, when I posted, there were only 900 online. So I think timing is important.

I will try to keep this updated every week, and I look forward to connecting with new people from the Indiehackers community!
