Progress is happening.. Just last week, my newsletter had 287 subscribers, and now it's up to 353. The increase primarily came from Reddit, where I spend a lot of my time.
I really find forums like Reddit great for kick-starting momentum for your project/newsletter, by contributing valuable insights to subreddit communities, without the need to slowly build up your network and do a lot of commenting before you get any attraction like on Twitter.
My recent Reddit post, as you can see here, has got over 60.1k views.
All of my popular posts have come from the R/Entrepreneur subreddit so far.
Besides posting, I also make sure to comment on relevant ‘hot’ posts with helpful information and include a link to my site, which gives me a couple subscribers a day. This does take up a ton of my time though, which could be used to create more content. So i’m leaning towards focusing on posts only in the future.
On Twitter, achieving 60k views on a single post is unlikely without resorting to paid ads or a shoutout from a major influencer. You can check my latest Twitter post here
However, I do plan on creating content that analyzes popular founders on Twitter and turn them into case studies to add to the archive. I do believe that will make for interesting content as well help boost my following there if they share it with their audience.
This is a strategy that i’ve taken from Paddy Galloways YouTube case studies. You can read more about his strategy in detail here
I’ve also decided to tweak the subject line of my latest newsletter to “Growth Archive #11” and I plan to do the same throughout the series.

The goal is to make each issue a unique and easily identifiable surprise among the crowd of other newsletters. Although the open rate dropped to 30%, I believe this change will enhance the long-term memorability of The Growth Archive.
I’ll see you guys next week with another update
