GrowthBar hit $4218 in revenue in October 2020 which was 55% growth over September. We did this by shifting the product to offer both yearly & monthly subscription options and making a few tweaks to our checkout flow that provided more clarity to the user. We also got a few great partner placements .
It's taken us about 9 months to get here, but GrowthBar just passed 2000 downloads! This has been the result of several efforts, including SEO, affiliates, and email marketing.
We 've been doing a lot of what we like to call "seeding the internet' which means reaching out to blogs and sites that rank for our target keywords and asking them to mention GrowthBar. Now we're hard at work improving our onboarding flow and dashbaord experience so that we can increase our conversion rates for paying users and retain users longer.
This was a huge and exciting milestone for us after months of development. He signed up for a $1 free trial and after 5 days, converting into a paying customer at $29/mo. He has stayed on as a customer for the last 10 months, and hopefully we will retain him and many more, for many months longer!
