Our users were getting good (not great but good) results from the app, and we had built it to a place where we were ready to scale!

But Instagram had other things in mind...

Shortly after the landing page and payments were all set up and we were ready to scale, our personal brand (that we had built up over the last year, and were using with this software) got banned from IG.

It was a slap in the face, I didn't know IG could've caught on or if they'd even ban accounts (apart from the occasional limited commenting).

My co-founder and I decided we couldn't continue the product -- as we could no longer guarantee our customer's account safety, and our product would only get harder and riskier to provide.

I validated my initial idea by talking to small clothing brands on Instagram. The vast majority of them said their #1 problem was traction/audience/customers, I offered this solution... and they liked it!
