I researched many static site generators - as they seem all the rage currently. Hugo, Jekyll & GatsbyJS - Hugo seems simple, perhaps too simple for my use case and also the web dev community seems to be leaning toward GatsbyJS - so I'm going to go with that and pair with an API for fetching the jobs from either flat files or a database.

Half day jobs is part of my plan to rapidly launch 12 startups in 12 months as Levels.io previously did.

So far this is what I've accomplished:

• Set up Ubuntu on 5$ Linode Server
• Pointed domains NS Servers to linode's nameservers.

I've decided on a strategy to target the biggest job sites in SOuth Africa to collect all half day positions and store the details on my server within an elasticsearch index.
