Hey IH,

I launched Hambry in February, 2026 because I got tired of the outrage machine.

While most media outlets are busy chasing clicks and stoking division, I wanted to build something that fights back with humor — sharp, deadpan, original satire on politics, culture, media absurdity, and everyday life.

What is Hambry?

It's a no-corporate-filter satirical news website in the spirit of classic satire, but with my own voice. We publish daily with headlines and stories that make you laugh, then think.

Current Progress:

• Consistent publishing cadence

• Newsletter running and growing

• Automated distribution across social platforms

• Building an audience of people who are exhausted by "serious" news

• Some early traction with other creators and satire fans

Challenges I'm Facing:

• Google is extremely unfriendly to satire sites (which makes sense, but still hurts)

• Standing out in a crowded creator economy

• Growing sustainably without burning out or selling out

• Figuring out the right mix of content formats (articles, shorts, memes, etc.)

What I'm Learning:

Satire is one of the few remaining honest ways to comment on culture right now. When reality feels like parody, the best response is often to lean into the absurdity.

I'm bootstrapping everything myself and focusing heavily on community, email list, and cross-promotions rather than hoping Google will magically love me one day.
